Our philosophy is rooted in three core principles: quality, authenticity, and community.
We are committed to using high-quality ingredients, from carefully selected Italian deli meats and cheeses to our Roman-style Pinsa and traditional dishes, all prepared with care and attention to detail. Our wine list features over 60 carefully selected labels, chosen to represent Italian regions, producers, and traditions.
Pochettino is more than a deli restaurant and wine bar — it is a place to connect, relax, and share moments. Alongside our commitment to quality and authenticity, we work closely with independent Italian producers, sourcing our ingredients and wines directly from Italy to preserve genuine flavours and traditions.

The name Pochettino comes from Italian and means “a little bit.” Our idea is simple: to offer a little bit of Italy in one place — flavours, wines, and traditions from different regions, brought together with care, passion, and genuine hospitality.
Our History
Founded in 2024 by Andrea and Isabella, Pochettino is a family-run, independently owned Italian deli, restaurant, and wine bar in Woking, created to celebrate authentic Italian food, wine, and hospitality.
Driven by a shared passion for quality and tradition, we work closely with trusted Italian producers, sourcing our ingredients and wines directly from Italy. We regularly organise tastings, staff training sessions, and visits to our producers to better understand their ethos and the stories behind each product.
Our love for Italy — its culture, gastronomy, and rich biodiversity — inspires everything we do. At Pochettino, our mission is to create a warm, welcoming place where people can come together and enjoy honest food, great wine, and genuine Italian hospitality.
